Preeti’s first stint in Telugu filmdom was in ‘Thammudu’ (1999). ‘Narasimha Naidu’ is just another popular film of her in Tollywood. After appearing in many inconspicuous roles she is now hoping to create a mark with ‘Tejam’ through this peppy song.

Featuring eight heroes and a heroine, the film completed ninety percent of the talkie and all the songs except the current song. The audio will hit the stands soon, while the movie will be ready for release by the end of April.

What she does admit to doing, however, is balancing her two lives-personal and professional-perfectly. “You can be romantic parents, too, and not always as a couple,” she says in an interview to the magazine. “Now, Arhaan [her son] completes us”.

Akshay Kumar, a certified deep sea diver, was injured while shooting for the film. The shot required Kumar to be 75ft deep in water, surrounded by 35 sharks. Kumar hit his head against the shipwreck and started bleeding, a lot of sharks reached there after getting the smell of his blood. Seeing this, the entire crew and cast members dove into the sea and surrounded him. He came out safe and was immediately rushed to hospital for first aid.
